What is RoleMatch?
RoleMatch is the resume-to-roles matcher that lives on your careers page. Instead of asking a visitor to read every job title and guess, RoleMatch reads their resume once and answers the only question they came with: which of these jobs is right for me?
It goes beyond keyword search. Every open role is scored on how the candidate skills and experience line up with what the job actually requires, then the list is reordered best fit first, with a match percentage on each role.

RoleMatch runs entirely on the public side of your careers experience. There is no account to create and nothing for the candidate to configure.

The careers widget on your own site
One embed snippet puts your live openings, and RoleMatch, on your existing careers page. It carries your branding, so it reads as part of your site rather than a third-party frame.
- The Find My Best Matches button can be switched on or off per company from your recruiting settings.
- Turning it off leaves the rest of the widget, and your job list, exactly as it was.
- Filters a visitor already set, such as location or department, carry into the ranked view.
Your hosted Octopyd careers page
If you use the Octopyd careers page instead of, or alongside, your own, RoleMatch is built in. The visitor uploads on the page and the list reranks in place.
- The ranked view is part of the page URL, so it can be refreshed, shared, or bookmarked.
- Start over clears the ranking and returns the visitor to the full role list.
- Roles that were filtered out stay filtered out; matching reorders, it does not hide your openings.
